Inn at Diamond Cove occupies the former Fort McKinley barracks, offering 44 guest rooms within a restored 19th-century military fort. The island prohibits cars; guests explore by complimentary bicycle or by golf cart. The on-site Fort McKinley Museum documents the post-Civil War history of the island and the fort's role in harbor defense.
